The wood finish was in good original condition with typical wear patterns. Beautiful natural figuring in the maple. Some minor scratches and dents. A good candidate for a complete wood touch-up.

    Only the worn spots are sanded retaining the original patina.

    (Not to be confused with a complete wood refinishing, requiring the complete removal of the original finish)

    Stain is carefully matched and applied to blend into worn areas.

    Entire wood surface is prepared for a new finish material. The finish is applied. The deeper existing blemishes are apparent, however the overall appearance is quite acceptable and worth the effort.
